Denzel Hale serves as the Lead Pastor of Southside Church. He is a devoted minister, passionate about sharing the transformative Gospel. 

Born and raised in Clarksville, Tennessee, he was profoundly influenced by his Godly grandparents, whose faith shaped his life. On May 15, 2013, at the age of 18, Denzel surrendered his life to Christ during a revival where his grandfather was preaching, setting him on an unwavering path of ministry.

From the moment of his salvation, the call to ministry was immediate. Since 2013, Denzel has preached at numerous youth events, served alongside his wife as a Next Gen pastor, and ministered at Teen Challenge, impacting lives across generations. His experience spans from leading young people to preaching on Sunday mornings, demonstrating a heart for discipleship and spiritual growth.

On May 7, 2021, Denzel married his wife, Christina Hale, whom he cherishes as his Proverbs 31 woman. Together, they have pursued the call of God, serving in ministry with a shared vision to see lives transformed by the Gospel.

Denzel’s mission is simple but powerful—to give God his “yes” every day and follow where He leads. Whether preaching, mentoring, or serving the body of Christ, he remains committed to advancing the Kingdom and seeing lives changed through the power of Jesus Christ.
